It was around 2 or 3 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2007. Mel tried calling me on my cell phone, but since I was in a meeting with soldiers working on some materials at the time, I could not answer the phone. Then she sent me a text message, but again, too busy with the soldiers to look at it. Then 15 minutes later, she called again, and this time I answered, because I thought, "Shit, three calls in 30 minutes, this is serious. Hope she did not get into an accident or get fired, or something."



I answered and asked what was up. She said, "You ready to be a daddy? I just got the test results. I'm pregnant."
